Where to store web projects that need design

The Web Projects Asana board will remain the home of all web projects. If your task requires design, there are four steps in order to flag it with me:

  1. Check ‘yes’ to the ‘Design Req’ dialogue box on the Web projects page.

  2. Copy and paste the Miro/Google Doc (see below) with the briefing in the Project description.

  3. Tag me in the comments of the task.

  4. In the Asana task, add a subtask called ‘Design Request Batch [X]’, which has the date which the particular task is to be complete. The dates I’ll be working on this project are: Batch 1: 16th-20th November Batch 2: 4th-8th December *Note: ***Please choose a date within these timeframes that allow for all content to be complete before I begin asset creation.

Miro Board

If you’re interested in using a Miro board to detail the structure of the webpage you’re creating, Vasi has led with this example of such. From my perspective it’s easy for me to understand the direction of the design from this.

Vasi has also prepared a video recording of how to create the Miro board.

Google Doc

If Google Docs are more your thing, here’s a well-laid-out brief by Jess which details her design and content needs well. I also appreciate the links to inspiration here, as it helps remove nuance and clearly defines expectations. The idea of breaking each sections into folds is great, and streamlined this project a lot.

NB

Please ensure all content on the page you’re requesting is 100% complete before I begin on the batch it’s in. Removing ambiguity will help accelerate this process tenfold and smoothen everything.

Also keep in mind that if you need icons, specific illustrations or visual cues, detail those for me so that I can interpret your requests effectively.
